The Commercial Furniture Industry Association of Australia Ltd (CFIAA) is a non profit national industry association representing manufacturers, suppliers and dealers of commercial, office and institution furniture.
The association membership companies represent over 80% of the value of Australian commercial furniture shipments. The commercial sector makes up over 50% of all furniture sales (domestic and commercial) in Australia and its growth is forecast to continue.
The CFIAA comprises representation from all sectors of the industry in all States and Territories of Australia.
The objectives of the CFIAA are currently to:
- Provide networking/information functions and activities
- Input into and the marketing of product standards
- Development of an industry event to showcase industry product design
- Facilitate industry/business development activities, (these may include lobbying overseasmarket development and industry promotion)
The CFIAA continues to provide a forum for collaboration and cooperation for the promotion of the commercial furniture industry and is recognised by the Federal and State governments.

Producers of items used by the industry such as star bases, gas lifts, desk and chair mechanisms, desk accessories, locks and such like. - Industry Suppliers
Producers of product used by the industry such as foam, fabric, board, laminates, machinery etc - Manufacturers
Manufacturers of finished commercial furniture - Sales/Distribution and Installation
Companies marketing, installing or distributing commercial furniture to the end user
